Our designs range from elegant everyday-wear items to sophisticated pieces for special occasions. The majority of our designs utilize fine and sterling silver, gold, pearls and semi-precious gems. We can and do use precious stones upon special request of our clients. We focus on clients who want to have a design shared by virtually no one else. Too many designs today are reproduced by the thousands in countries with low-cost labor and poor working conditions. The disadvantages of this mass produced jewelry are many and the benefits are few. At Wearable by Design, we go far beyond typical commercial jewelry and to give you a wearable work of art at an affordable price. Our principal designer, Jennifer Smith-Righter, was formally trained in art and design in San Francisco, and has won awards and recognition in the United States and Europe.
